Chambray: Next, Scarf: Zara, Coat: Next, Umbrella: Zara, Skirt: H&M, Boots: New Look

If you follow me on my Instagram you will know, these pictures are so old I can honestly say, “This is like, so… 2015…” but in my hopes to always be three weeks ahead of posts going out I have quite a few outfits saved up, even whilst only posting every other week.

Secondly, after we took our break these were the first pictures back and lets all admit it.

My posing sucked.

I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to share these. They are anything but perfect but heres the thing, I love this scarf. I love being busty and daring to wear a buttoned up chambray and bow. I also adore this white skirt and I’m not going to be afraid to shout about it.

Even whilst awkwardly posing.

SS15: What I wore.

Shirt: H&M Mens, 2012, Dress: H&M, Bag: Zara 2014, Heels: Clarks (these are on sale right now!!! £35!!)

As it is officially May I am now only wearing capsule items! ack! Now here is a bit of a classic for me, I have worn this outfit in so many different ways both this year and last and even on the blog!

Adding a chambray shirt is an excellent way to stay cool in the warmer temperatures while switching it up and giving you another way to wear your favourite summer dress!

Speaking of dresses this was my favourite dress of all time last year, I had it in red, navy and black and you may have seen them around the blog a few times (read all the time!) I was slightly disappointed with them this year however since they have upped the price from £7.99 to £12.99. Now for a dress thats still a pretty damn good deal I just wanted to tell you guys so you know before you buy one, that these are shorter than last year and in all honesty I’m not really sure that the quality of cotton is good enough for the price.

However this is still a very good basic for me in the hotter months.

That old Chestnut . . . (Dresses, Shirts and Brunch)

Shirt? New Look! (last year?), Dress: Dorothy Perkins! Currently on sale in stores! Shoesies? New Look (A great £7 investment!)

Im going to be honest with you gals and guys I was originally wearing a belt with this outfit, but then Cafe Rouge and a Croque Monsieur happened and I gave up on that dream. Who wouldn’t?

In other news I’m pretty sure we are all sighing a sigh of relief that today is Friday right? Seriously, for a short week I’m glad that there are naps and dinners with my bear on the horizon! If anything this weekend calls for a whole host of film watching, especially when I probably should be preparing myself for next weeks tube strikes! Joy of Joys!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekends! and heres to perhaps wearing a belt next time!*

*the more likely thing to happen will be brunch again, because you know eating trumps belt wearing any day. . .

The new shirt in town . . .

So you all own chambray shirt right? No? You shock me! I live in mine. Honestly, I might have worn this shirt three days in a row this week and my other yesterday.

You can catch my other shirt Here+ Here+ and Here+. So, the chambray! I think that these shirts are great as you can dress them up with a smart skirt for work, tied over maxi skirts, worn lose with stripes and jeans thrown on over dresses, under dresses. I can’t preach how much I love these shirts cause I just love them too much!

This week, i’ve worn this one above, with jeans on Sunday, under my black dress ala’ Kendi on Tuesday and yesterday I wore my pale blue one thrown on over my dress that I wore to two of our best friends wedding yesterday.

In fact for someone who had been dancing and celebrating all day I thought I did pretty well last night when I threw my shirt on over my dress with a pair of fuggs* to go get midnight fast food.

So many choices, so little time! What are your favourite items of clothing to remix at the moment?

(*Fuggs, fake Uggs! don’t pretend you don’t own a pair too!)
