Basics: The Blazer;

My first ever blazer was from the new branch of forever 21 in Stratford Cities, Westfield Centre. I know this because I was still rocking the loan crutch while being stalked by an overzealous staff member who really just wanted me to sit down. I think because he was worried about me falling over and hurting myself but considering the centre had already claimed one ankle. I hardly thought that it was after my second.

It was dirt cheap at only £19.99 and it was perfect for my university days and like a gooey romance novel I just knew that it was the one. Right on trend with its Boyfriend fit it was both trend savvy while having thin enough sleeves that it was also crutch friendly. Something that that years winter coat was not. Which had faux fur sleeves that would get wedged above the arm support and leave for a rather unwelcome draft.

As with most f21 purchases though it really should have only stuck with me that year but somehow here we are almost two years later and its still a go to item in my closet. However those two years haven’t come and gone without leaving some bobbling and a slight tear in the left sleeve lining. So although I know I need to start looking for a new one really I’m kind of waiting for the next Zara Sale. I mean who isn’t?

In January I missed out on a gorgeous Zara blazer in a dark peach but because of one of those shoes or blazer moments ( The shoes won) I didn’t buy it and have regretted it ever since. I know that really a great fitting black blazer is really the only way to go forward when it comes to a great investment piece however! This time however I am looking for something slightly shorter in length and with a better fit around the waist. With that in mind now all I have to do is find the dream blazer! And how hard can that be?

Firstly I love this hedge row – talk about some good greens! So secondly my apologies for the endless posts in front of said incredible hedge. Lastly I am sorry, but I appear to have fallen to the Kardashians for style tips again and dressed like one of them. I’m going with Khloe – she’s my favourite, and tall, thats like doubly great.

I wore this out last wednesday for Mexican round our friend Pauls house and man was I comfy! there is nothing better than leggings, well unless you add that old ratty t-shirt and spend a day in front of the couch in your leggings and tee that is!.

This feels a little like a best of both worlds you get the great comfort and it doesn’t look too bad either! (I don’t think) and my new grey t-shirt – so much better than my old one! Its taking all my strength I tell you not to go in and buy it in the other colour – or maybe this one all over again but then again I have to remember I don’t know how well this will wash up and we know me by now don’t we? Grey t-shirt shrinker extrodinaire! I might even get that printed up now, keep a record or you know photograph all my ruined tee shirts and post it on the internet, that should probably do the trick.

also my left foot in the last picture . . . so strange . . . like a pelicans beak! weird . . .

Less Cute.

I try to keep the backgrounds of these images different. Cause honestly who wants to look at the same blank wall every week? But the weather has been conspiring against us. Our town flooded over Christmas and has since then left our park half flooded and taken with it some of our favourite photog places. Add constant rain, wind and bad weather all round has meant a lot of walls and inside shots so I apologise.

So todays post is less cute. There were less cute pictures than these believe me.

An Old One

So, I was originally going to do a post on Instagram but WordPress threw a paddy. i threw one back and it took us a couple of hours to forgive one another, therefore here you have it. Me from a date night over the summer.

On this day Maidstone was throwing its yearly river festival which means I somehow successfully had my photo taken with a tonne of people on boats watching me, wasn’t I lucky? But it must show my years blogging stripes as it didn’t phase me.

What did phase me however, was this morning we were taking photos for later in the week and no joke this guy saw us walked over and then proceeded to stare me in the eyes for ages. It was creepy but did it stop me? no.

However, the photos later in the week? they might have been compromised *apologies for my petrified expressions*.

Bootsmass . . .

Happy bootsmass! everyone! So originally I had these two looks (for the same top) to post but to be honest I had so many good photo’s from this one that I figured i might just bore you with a second post for this top! Also did you see the boots? the boots of joy one might call them! I love them only a . . . huge, huge bit!

I’d wear them all the time but Josh probably would think I was taking it to far if I wore them in bed. Even though I perhaps want to!

but until them enjoy the rest of the festive season!
