Outfit Nine | The Camel Skirt Switch.

Black Blazer | F21, Black Striped Tank | H&M, Camel Skirt | Dorothy Perkins, Black Bag | Primark, Red Belt | Next, Leopard Print Flats | New Look

In my Capsule Wardrobe I had a summer skirt, which because I loved it and hadn’t worn it much I threw it in the capsule on the hopes of wearing it more. Its a month in and can you tell that that’s not happening?

I don’t know what it is, maybe its that its more neon than any other colour or maybe because its white but I put it on the other morning and felt for the first time in this capsule the dreaded, I have nothing to wear. I must have put on every shirt in the capsule before feeling frumpy and doing something bad. I shopped my other closet, the one with all the stuff I couldn’t part with yet and out came this little camel flippy number.

Now when I think about it, I can’t figure out why I didn’t just put this in the first time? The camel colour goes with my winter coat and my colour scheme it just makes complete sense whereas my lovely summer skirt makes sense in spring and summer. So here we have it another switch in and out. My summer skirt for my flippy camel one.

You’ll be glad to know that this is most likely the last switch of this capsule, Woo hoo!

    That’s a really cute outfit!

The way I see it, capsule wardrobe idea is meant to help you refine your style while always having something to wear, something you love and can make it work. Above all, it’s supposed to make the whole process of planning and picking out pieces to include in it intentional and mindful.

Since you’re still learning how to use it to your full advantage, it’s only natural that you will make mistakes and fix them as you go. It was a good switch, and you didn’t spend any money on it. 🙂
